The Janus Bicycle Path
The Janus bike path connects pivotal moments of Rome along the route outlined in the Eternal Travel Guide.  Cyclists move forwards and backwards in time, just like the physical experience of walking through Rome and moving through the city’s overlapping layers of architectural history.  The bike route is accompanied by an audio tour, on which residents of far-away Rome’s describe their city.  Cyclists visit the sites along the Janus bike path and can also contribute their own stories to rebuildingRome.com.  Cycling Through Rome(s) can be experienced on one’s own or as part of one of several organized tours led by Janus.
